We distribute these custom firearms across the nation. Taylor Customs is hiring a Production Assistant to grow our team and to aid in the process of completing custom firearms. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for an opportunity to join a growing company where you will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver exceptional quality products.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5PM Duties Work closely with the Production Manager to support business growth and company goals. Ability to maintain a clean work environment. Ability to perform routine maintenance to equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction accurately. This job function is primarily disassembly/reassembly of firearms on occasion, you may be asked to help other departments which can include sandblasting, surface prepping, or setting up lasers to engrave. Recommend and implement process improvements that drive efficiency in the custom shop. Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety precautions. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or GED. Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to legally own and possess firearms under federal and state law. Must be able to pass a drug screen as well as a criminal background check. Must have a willingness to learn and continuous improvement mindset. Must be capable of standing most of the day and lifting up to 50lbs.
