This position will assist in meeting or exceeding production goals on a consistent basis. Primary Responsibilities Loading and unloading items from machines Examining products to ensure conformance to quality standards Observing equipment operations so that any malfunctions are reported to management Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in the work area Performing general cleanup and maintenance of work area Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred High school diploma or equivalent Math and reasoning skills as well as proven problem solving skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and tolerate heat during summer months Effective communication skills including the ability to create and maintain productive working relationships Ability to work rotating 12 hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off) Closing The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by employees assigned to this position.
