Job Description
Apply printed and cut vinyl to sign faces, panels, letters, and other substrates Perform wet and dry application techniques depending on material requirements Prepare surfaces by cleaning, degreasing, and ensuring proper adhesion conditions Trim, weed, tape, and align graphics according to production specifications Read and interpret production packets, artwork layouts, and work orders Inspect finished work for bubbles, wrinkles, misalignment, and defects Perform minor rework or corrections when needed Maintain clean and organized workstations Properly handle and store vinyl rolls, prints, and finished products Assist with lamination and mounting when required Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements Communicate production issues or material defects to supervisors Meet daily production targets and cycle time expectations Required Skills & Qualifications Previous vinyl application or sign production experience preferred (1+ year ideal) Ability to use squeegees, knives, heat guns, rollers, and trimming tools safely Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to read measurements and follow layout guides Basic understanding of different vinyl types (cast vs calendared preferred) Comfortable working on large format prints and oversized panels Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when required Team-oriented with strong work ethic .
