Job DescriptionBase pay rate is $18.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential

Shift Hours:

2:00PM - 10:00PM, hours may vary depending on operations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESA

Brake Press Operator is one of the key members of our production team. A Brake Press Operator conducts changeovers to different angles and sizes to ensure parts are folded in the correct angles. You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Checking and visually inspecting produced parts against specifications to ensure a defect free product has been producedInstalling dies during tooling change and adjusting to specificationsEntering production quantities for each order into computer systemMaintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as neededQualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing/production environmentAbility to operate a forkliftAbility to work independently and with othersHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read a tape measure and protracter 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitivelyMust be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shiftMust be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer monthsNoise level is moderate to loud
