is a growing, Dayton/Cincinnati-based company, who delivers Visual Marketing solutions that attract attention, engage shoppers, and convert sales. Our mission is to create retail experiences that connect brands and consumers through effective visual communication. In-house design, engineering, printing, manufacturing, and fulfillment guarantee excellence from concept to completion. This position specializes in the operation of leading edge technology large format digital presses. You will follow order specifications and perform press set-up, press operations, general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and safety-related housekeeping. Follow order specifications/special instructions and ensure all production materials are at press prior to set-up Set up, operate and maintain UV digital press with high proficiency Operate assigned press through production run performing required adjustments, maintenance, and maintaining consistent quality RIP files produced from data files using digital print equipment Records and reports all finished production. Completes and processes all related documentation via PC or tablet Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reporting unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards Record maintenance and service calls in maintenance logbook as required Trains, assists, and supports other team members in problem solving and meeting department goals. Continuously reviews current processes and searches out improvement methods to improve product/process quality, reduce waste, rework and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group and assists other areas as required. Work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective action on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance based on equipment specifications and acquired knowledge of machine operations Manage role with an understanding of changing priorities, sense of urgency, execution of results and support for the team Inspect all proofs and final product before releasing to internal or external customers Perform other duties as assignedWORK REQUIREMENTS
Able to continuously stand, stoop, and bend Proficient in basic math calculation Follow verbal and written instructions Demonstrate mechanical aptitude Learn and demonstrate basic PC skills reporting production Understand RIP software. Must have good vision including ability to review color Read and follow work orders and production schedules Able to work with management to achieve company goals Accept direction from supervisors, management and peers to improve quality and performance Work together with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance Lift up to 50 lbs Communicate professionally (verbal and interpersonal) with all levels of management and non-management personnelEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
