Hide Production

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for learning to operate the Hide Process to ensure uptime for production, quality, and yields, while ensure the safest work environment possible. The Hide Process Trainee is the starting point for those with no experience who want to learn the process and grow a career with Creekstone and work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Learn the operations of centrifuges, Grinders, Hide puller, load out area, meal grinderSupport operation of the process to produce product that is within specificationLearn about yields by gaining a clear understanding of yields of productAssist where needed, as directed by department managementAdhere to Safety Programs rules and regulations Physically capable of performing job duties while wearing a Respirator in certain situationsAll other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; Must be able to lift 0 80+lbs; Able to work in hot and cold environments; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc. Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer
