Job Summary:

The Production Team Member ensures that production parts are produced safely, in the right quantities, according to quality and other standards, and in the period allotted. The Team Member also escalates any questions or situations to the supervisor for further review when necessary.

Essential Functions:

Set up the production equipment and supplies before starting production. Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. Ensure that equipment is kept in good and safe working condition. Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Identify and report unsafe operations to supervisor or management immediately. Maintain the work area clean, safe, and organized. Identify variations in parts, materials and equipment which may affect finished product quality. Properly document all work on specified production and quality related documents. Carry out any additional assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor. Be responsible by ensuring the product does not advance to the next step in the routing if there are any non-conformances, or if product is out of specification in any way, by notifying a supervisor. Operate a fork truck if needed, in a particular position.

Educational Requirements:
