Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Kaizen - Manufacturing Floater to join our dynamic production team. This role is vital in supporting continuous improvement initiatives across various manufacturing departments. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a culture of efficiency and quality. As a Manufacturing Floater, you will provide essential support by assisting different teams, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to process enhancements in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist multiple manufacturing teams with daily operational tasks to maintain workflow continuity Support Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects by gathering data and implementing process changes Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure safety and compliance standards are met Provide hands-on support for setup, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance of machinery as needed Collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies and suggest actionable solutions Document process improvements, observations, and outcomes for management review Adapt quickly to different roles within the production floor to meet operational needs Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred but not required Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process improvement opportunities Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within diverse teams Flexibility to work across various shifts or departments as needed Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and safety protocols is advantageous Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
