Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description Join our team as a Production Associate where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of catalytic converters for automobiles. You will be part of a dynamic production department tasked with either mixing materials to create protective coatings or handling the fast-paced coating process, ensuring that every catalytic converter meets our high-quality standards. Responsibilities Carry out production activities including machine setup, checks, and operation. Maintain production of quality products. Operate, load, and unload production equipment. Read gauges and record run or sample data. Lift and move raw material/product manually or with equipment. Measure and mix ingredients according to a recipe sheet. Perform process inspections to ensure compliance with production standards. Identify and sort abnormal material/products. Monitor equipment operation to recognize and report malfunctions. Tag identification on parts. Breakdown and clean equipment and work area. Ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Attention to detail. Excellent attendance. Strong reading and math skills. Ability to follow written or verbal instructions. Self-motivation with the capability to work independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable working with chemicals. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate required. Previous manufacturing experience required. Work Environment The manufacturing environment is not climate-controlled and requires physical activities such as squatting, bending, standing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs. Some positions may require lifting up to 65 lbs. Safety attire including shoes, hat, gloves, and glasses are mandatory. Occasionally, protective gear such as goggles, face shields, masks, respirators, smocks, or rubber sleeves may be required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
