Job Description

Job Purpose:
Safely and accurately complete both internal and external customer orders using industrial sewing equipment to perform garment alterations. Demonstrate culture, strong work ethics, goal attainment and attention to detail.
Daily Responsibilities:
Inspect garments and trim items for correct color, scripting, size and quantity. Apply emblems, ID tapes, bar codes, and/or other trim as required, consulting the T-Spec book when necessary. Cut, surge, and hem garments as required per the work order. Consolidate and pack orders to ensure accurate shipping and invoicing. Check E-Stops and temperature on Heat Sealer. Report equipment problems to Maintenance or Production Supervisor immediately. Report damaged garments and errors to a Production Supervisor. Process orders by priority ship date. Participate in shift updates.
