Production Assistant

Roof Angel is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Assistant to support our roofing production team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring roofing projects run smoothly by assisting with material transportation, job site coordination, inventory management, and general production support. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, safety-minded, and enjoys working both in the field and with team members to keep projects on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Material & Equipment Management Deliver roofing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Transfer excess materials between active projects as needed. Assist with material pickups from suppliers and warehouses. Maintain accurate inventory of roofing materials and equipment. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Production Support Assist Production Managers with coordinating roofing projects. Conduct job site visits to ensure crews have necessary materials and resources. Help maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Support project completion by handling miscellaneous field tasks. Assist with final project cleanup and material recovery. Quality & Safety Follow all company safety policies and procedures. site concerns, damages, or safety hazards. Perform basic inspections of equipment and vehicles. Ensure materials are stored and transported properly to prevent damage. Administrative Support Take photos and document project progress. Assist with scheduling deliveries and pickups. Maintain communication between crews, suppliers, and management. Complete daily logs and reports as required. QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly. Ability to climb ladders and work in outdoor environments. Strong organizational and communication skills. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Previous roofing, construction, or production experience. Experience towing trailers. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Familiarity with roofing materials and job site operations.
