Direct Hire | Unionized Manufacturing Environment Job Description The Sewing Machine Operator assembles tailored garments and uniform apparel using high‑speed industrial sewing machines and performs detailed hand‑finishing tasks to complete high‑quality garments. This role plays a vital part in producing custom‑fit apparel for the U.S. Military, Law Enforcement, Fire, EMT, and other Government & Federal customers . This is a unionized manufacturing environment focused on precision, quality, and productivity , with compensation driven by a piece‑rate system tied directly to individual performance. Operators receive ongoing coaching, training, and skill development to support long‑term success.
