Crater Mon-Thu | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Starting at $18.00/hr Ready to build something that matters? Why You Matter As a Crater, you play a critical role in the final step of our manufacturing process. You ensure our machines are protected, secured, and presentation-ready before they leave our facility. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship directly impact customer satisfaction and the safe delivery of Lantech equipment around the world. What You'll Do In this hands-on role, you will: Build shipping skids using hand and power tools (including pneumatic impact tools and nail guns) Prepare, package, and secure machines and spare parts for shipment Operate a forklift to move parts, skids, and equipment Load machines into trucks for outbound shipment Inspect machines for visible damage prior to shipping Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues or make corrections Prepare and organize shipping paperwork (manuals, documentation, etc.) Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety Can identify problems and support solutions independently Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Maintains reliable attendance Practices safe work habits and follows PPE requirements Is willing and able to obtain Lantech forklift certification Is willing to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines Is customer-focused and production-driven Can pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check Is legally authorized to work in the U.S. Education & Experience Preferred (but not required): Previous crating or shipping experience Forklift experience Construction or manufacturing background Experience using hand and power tools Why You'll Love Working at
