Full-Time Job Summary MPH Energy Services, LLC is actively hiring an experienced Hydraulic Workover / Snubbing Assistant Operator to support live well intervention operations in both offshore and field environments. The Assistant Operator works directly with the Operator and Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient execution of snubbing, hydraulic workover, pressure control, and pipe handling operations . This role is ideal for candidates with strong field experience who are ready to continue growing into leadership positions within HWO/snubbing. Key Responsibilities Assist the Operator with daily Hydraulic Workover / Snubbing unit operations Support tripping pipe in and out of live wells Help operate and maintain jacks, slips, elevators, hydraulic tongs, and pipe handling systems Monitor and assist with pressure control equipment , including BOPs, stripping rams, and annulars Assist with rig-up and rig-down procedures Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting Participate in JSAs, BOSS cards, and pre-job safety meetings Maintain proper communication with Supervisors, Operators, and floor crews Ensure housekeeping, tool organization, and worksite safety standards are maintained Follow all company and customer QHSE procedures Qualifications 1+ years of oilfield experience preferred , including workover, snubbing, coiled tubing, rig operations, or well intervention Experience working around pressure control equipment and hydraulic systems Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs , climb, bend, and work in elevated environments Comfortable working long hours, offshore rotations, nights, and weekends Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be dependable and able to respond to call-outs and schedule changes Ability to work safely in fast-paced, high-pressure field environments Preferred Certifications TWIC Rig Pass (IADC) H2S First Aid / CPR Incipient Fire
