Production Assistant

Production Assistant Location:

Ayer, MA Pay:

$23/hour

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM We are hiring a hands-on Production Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This role combines ERP coordination, inventory control, and production support to ensure efficient and accurate workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Open, verify, and manage job orders in ERP systems Ensure correct materials and lot numbers are used in production Print and distribute daily production schedules Perform cycle counts (cartons, caps, labels, etc.) Support training of operators and standard procedures Assist with OEE improvements and production analysis Step in for the Shift Supervisor when needed Support production lines during staffing shortages Follow all GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs

Preferred:
