Production and Shipping Assistant Description:

We are a fine art ing and framingpany and our clients expect exceptional quality and service. The position is for our finishing department. The individual is responsible for quality control, trimming, packaging and preparing orders for shipment. The job requires shipping orders via UPS, DHL and US Postal service and processing shipping labels and payments through our lab management software. The job entails carrying boxes up to 75lbs and moving large frames and delicate artworks. This is a part time, permanent position, 20-25 hours per week, with the potential to be full-time based on volume.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate would have some background in photography or other fine art media. The job requires great attention to detail, goodanization skills, and the ability to work independently. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonalmunication skills and can work with our team in a fast paced environment so the individual needs to be adaptable, flexible and efficient. The position requires handling of delicate photographs and s so the individual needs to be orderly and considerate of the artworks. Creativity and being able to "think outside the box" are essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Handling and flattening silver gelatin fiber s in a large hot press
• trimming both silver and inkjet s
• inspecting all s for flaws and moving orders forward into different departments
• time management skills to ensure outgoing shipments meet courier deadline
• carefully pack flat s as well as mounts and frames
• attention to detail when packaging goods for shipment
• keeping track of inventory in both the trimming and shipping departments
