  • 11:15pm Lyne Laboratories is looking for a Full-Time Packaging Line Leader to contribute to the Packaging Department's daily operations.
Lyne Laboratories , with more than 40 years of experience, is a privately held, well-established company with a successful history of manufacturing liquid, semi-solid and powder formulations of both prescription and OTC products. The Packaging Line Leader is responsible for leading a group of packaging personnel following the production schedule and executing it in a timely manner, with the understanding that strict adherence to cGMP's and SOP's must occur. The Packaging Line Leader will utilize department resources in the most effective manner on a daily basis. in daily operations and maintaining quality levels
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Responsible for all aspects of the assigned line, as outlined in the standard packaging instructions, such as batch records, cGMP's, and SOPs. Directs the work efforts of one or more employees in maintaining normal production operation and quality levels of pharmaceutical products: including liquids, powders, ointments, and other operations required relative to packaging of products. Follow the packaging department schedule. Assist with the equipment setup as it relates to serialization and line changeovers. Responsible for assuring all personnel who enter the line to comply with gowning procedures, wear masks, safety glasses, gloves, and other items when appropriate. Provide leadership, direction, and instructions to less experienced personnel. Review batch records for accuracy and sign-off as completed. Perform hourly control checks when needed. Responsible for packaging equipment readiness. Use packaging schedule to plan ahead, perform line clearances, product/packaging components accountability, usage and returns. Initiate policy violations to personnel who are not in compliance with SOP's, cGMP's, and OSHA regulations. Responsible for maintaining packaging room/line is clean and orderly at all times. Provide leadership, direction, and instruction to all employees on the line. Assist in training personnel, advising the Supervisor of progress. Perform start-ups, shutdowns, and operation of specified packaging equipment. Monitors operation of equipment while in use including air pressures, timing/indexing cycles, and all other pertinent functions to maintain accuracy of operating parameters and safety and to protect the quality of the finished product/package. Ability to detect a problem and to stop operation of machinery and to make adjustment to rectify problems, to seek assistance to rectify a problem. Perform various quality checks such as product determination, labeling, product codes and all other criteria specified for adherence to establish standards. Complete and compile all necessary components of production batch record. Check for accuracy. Report shift production for each assigned line filling, packaging, product on a daily shift basis.
Requirements :
High School diploma required. College education preferred or equivalent experience in a supervisory position. Min 2 years of leadership experience Ability to work occasional weekend overtime.
