POSITION SUMMARY

With direction from the Production ManagerFloor Supervisors, responsibilities include sorting and assembly of clean garments in a Commercial Laundry environment, packing of orders and quality control, counting and inventory control and other areas of production as needed.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sorting, inspectingcounting of garments Operating machinery following established procedures and policies Performing daily inspections before beginning operations Following all safety policies and procedures Mainting company quality standards Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, AND WORK AIDS

Laundry baskets, and linen bins Carts and conveyors Overhead rail system and garment sorting system Automated soil sort system and automated polybag machines

REQUIRED SKILLS

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers and staff Highly dependable Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy English competency

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
