Embroidery & Heat PressJob Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Specialist to manage our embroidery & heat press operations. This position involves overseeing the entire production process for customized items, ensuring the final products meet quality standards, and maintaining smooth production workflows. The ideal candidate should have experience with both heat press equipment and embroidery machines, along with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Heat Press Operations:
Set up and operate heat press machines for applying heat transfer materials (e.g., vinyl, sublimation). Ensure accurate temperature, pressure, and timing settings for each project. Inspect finished products to ensure heat transfer is flawless and consistent.
Quality Control:
Monitor production quality and output to ensure finished products meet industry standards and customer requirements. Perform detailed inspections of both embroidery and heat press products to ensure there are no defects. Make adjustments to equipment and production processes as needed to improve quality.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Regularly clean and maintain embroidery and heat press equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Ensure all necessary supplies (threads, transfer materials, etc.) are stocked and available.
Collaboration & Coordination:
Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of orders. Provide input on process improvements and equipment upgrades. Assist with organizing and prioritizing production schedules.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure that all production activities comply with safety standards and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience in embroidery and heat press operations. Experience with Abode Illustrator, Canva strongly preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with embroidery software and file formats (e.g., DST, PES, etc.). Knowledge of heat press settings, materials, and best practices. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality throughout the production process.
Problem-Solving:
Capable of identifying issues quickly and implementing solutions effectively.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials or finished products (up to 50 lbs).
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or certifications in production technology or related fields preferred).
