Production Associate

About MAC Mass Alternative Care is a local, family-owned Medical and Recreational Marijuana Company based in Western Massachusetts that specializes in providing quality products to patients and consumers. Our well-fed, premium flower is cultivated in small batches at our Chicopee facility where it is carefully selected and hand-trimmed for packaged flower and pre-rolls, or extracted into concentrate. MAC products are available at our Chicopee and Amherst retail locations as well as select dispensaries across the state of Massachusetts. In addition to MAC products, we carry a wide variety of carefully chosen wholesale products and accessories at both retail locations to give consumers the option and convenience of a full cannabis experience. Role and Responsibilities To assist the Production Supervisor and Facility Manager with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of grow facilities. Cultivation Team Members may be required to do one or all of the tasks listed below depending on the skill level of the

Production Team Member:

Hand Trimming Packaging finished marijuana and concentrates Hand packing pre-rolls Ability to Multi-task Cleaning work areas Affixing label to product Assist the cultivation team as needed Preferred Skills and Education High School Diploma/Equivalent Prior production experience Prior experience working in a greenhouse or an agricultural background Thrives in a detail oriented and routine based environment. Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and squat for 8+hrs. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs. Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions: Exposure to pollen, allergens, and household cleaning supplies in the grow facility or greenhouse General office environment Extended computer usage Extended phone usage including teleconferences Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, bright lights with required protective gear, vibrations, and water.'
