This role combines regulatory compliance, technical template design, and production workflow support. The ideal candidate understands labeling regulations, is familiar with industry standards, and has previous experience with managing and maintaining label template designs. Previous experience with data integration and process improvement would also be extremely valuable skillet. This role works closely with IT, Regulatory, Production, Sales, Quality Assurance and Marketing teams to ensure labels are compliant, accurate, scalable, and production ready. Key Responsibilities Label & Packaging Template Design Design and maintain label templates for packaging, including: Primary Inner and secondary master case labels Private label / customer-specific formats Retail labels Ensure item specific print jobs that are derived from templates reflect ERP Items accurately with regards to product description, size, net wt., pack-size, UPCs, ingredients and license numbers. Standardize label layout, typography, barcodes, and data fields. Regulatory Compliance Ensure all labels meet applicable regulatory requirements, including: FDA labeling regulations USDA (when applicable) Nutritional Information Allergen declarations Monitor regulatory changes and update templates accordingly. Support audits and customer compliance requests. Production & Operations Support Work with production teams to ensure labels print correctly and consistently. Optimize label formats for industrial thermal printers and inkjet printers Troubleshoot label formatting, print alignment, and barcode issues. Develop standardized workflows for label creation and approval. Technical & Data Integration Maintain label data fields from item setup parameters housed within our ERP Assist in automating repetitive labeling processes when possible. Manage barcode creation and validation Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with Sales and Marketing on branded packaging updates and customer approvals Work closely with IT to ensure print jobs are updated and downloaded properly. Support customer-specific labeling requirements. Assist Quality and Regulatory teams with documentation and specifications. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in food or CPG packaging/labeling. Strong knowledge of FDA food labeling regulations and industry standards. Experience creating production-ready label templates. Proficiency with label and document design tools such as: Labeling software experience

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
