Production Team Member

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Team Member performs various tasks integral to the production of quality plant material. Working in a greenhouse environment, production team members are involved in planting and plant care, maintenance, shipping and receiving as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Fill production needs as required. This may include planting, caring for product in the field and in the greenhouse, shipping product and some facilities maintenance tasks. Use farm tractors, forklifts and other machinery as necessary or be willing to learn. Follow directions and work effectively with the team. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

OTHER DUTIES

Execute the duties of the position in alignment with the Company Mission and Conduct Policies. Use technology as required by the position. Complete required annual trainings as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Physical stamina. Attention to detail. Be comfortable working in small teams or independently. Follow directions accurately and efficiently. A strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines. Some horticultural experience preferred but not required.
