General Production Worker Job Description The General Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations in a plastic production facility by preparing materials, assisting with coating and finishing processes, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Responsibilities Prepare materials and components for use in plastic manufacturing processes. Assist with coating, finishing, and related production activities according to established procedures. Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Handle general labor tasks such as moving materials, loading and unloading items, and organizing workstations. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety guidelines. Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete daily production tasks. Operate basic production tools and equipment after receiving appropriate training. Report any issues with materials, equipment, or product quality to the appropriate personnel. Support team members as needed to meet production goals and deadlines. Essential Skills Ability to perform general labor and physical tasks throughout the shift. Willingness to learn production processes in a plastic manufacturing environment. Reliability and strong attendance, arriving on time and ready to work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Attention to detail when inspecting parts and finished products. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area. Additional Skills & Qualifications No prior manufacturing or production experience required. No formal qualifications or certifications required for this role. Interest in learning new skills and growing within a manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Medway, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
