Job Description
Job Overview Walsh Steel and Ironworks is a Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Metals Welding company in Plymouth, MA. We are currently seeking an experienced Ironworker with a minimum of (3) years experience in Structural Steel, Miscellaneous Metal, and onsite welding. . Qualified candidates should have strong knowledge of the following: Structural Steel, miscellaneous packages, railings, and light iron. Applicants must be able to read blueprints. Drivers license and reliable transportation to work is a must! This is a full-time position. Skills Proficient in Stick (SMAW) welding techniques and other welding methods. Strong knowledge of construction site practices and safety protocols. Experience with power tools, cranes, and other heavy machinery used in ironworking. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. Skilled in all steel installations. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to construction and welding. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
