Job Description

Jacqueline's Bridal is currently looking for a talented Part-Time Couture Dressmaker / Seamstress to join our team, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position in the future. We are seeking someone highly skilled, creative, and detail-oriented, with experience in couture sewing, pattern making, and gown construction. The ideal candidate should be passionate about bridal and evening fashion and capable of creating high-quality gowns with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform bridal and evening gown alterations with precision and care Create patterns and construct gowns from scratch Work with couture fabrics, corsetry, lace, draping, hand finishing, and intricate details Assist with custom bridal and evening gown design projects Support fittings, redesigns, and garment adjustments Maintain clean and organized workspaces in the atelier and showroom Steam, prepare, and finish gowns for customer appointments and pickups Work closely with our team to ensure exceptional quality and customer satisfaction Qualifications Strong experience in couture dressmaking, sewing, and alterations Ability to create patterns and construct dresses from the beginning to final fitting Experience working with bridal or evening wear is highly preferred High attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Professional, reliable, organized, and always on time Friendly attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company Fluent English communication is preferred This is an excellent opportunity for someone who truly loves couture fashion, craftsmanship, and creating beautiful gowns in a professional bridal environment.
