JOB SUMMARY

Cut printed product to meet or exceed customer expectations

SHIFT:

First, 7am-3pm Monday-Friday

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive printed skids of inserts and set machine to proper size according to customer specifications. Responsible for meeting departmental production goals. Responsible for notifying supervisor of below ordered count. Responsible for following instructions on job jackets regarding cutting and verify rule ups and measurements on products. Responsible for review of flag areas on skids. Responsible to comply with internal and external quality requirements and standards. Follows GMPs and completes all related paperwork. Responsible for compliance with all relevant SOP's and safety requirements. Performs necessary preventative maintenance, including changing blades. Uses computer to record status of orders and quality of work completed. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with housekeeping and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned within the finishing department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have prior knowledge of cutting operations and procedures Attention to detail. Good mathematical aptitude. Able to read, write and speak English. Good organizational skills. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments. Ability to read measuring devices and calculate fractions. Handwriting must be legible (capable of being read or deciphered) on all company forms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to bend and lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly during the shift. Normal vision. Ability to stand for the entire shift Must be prompt and reliable and able to work overtime as needed.
