Job Description

Katon Printing, a digital and offset printer located in Ellicott City, MD. We are customer-focused and strive to provide our clients with exceptional service and quality products above all else.
Position Description:
Pre-flight customer-supplied art files to verify specifications and ensure industry standards are being met Generate PDF proofs for customers to review and make necessary file edits as required Prepare and impose files for offset and digital printing workflows Perform light graphic design work and typesetting Communicate with customers by phone and email Collaborate with other members of the internal team
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum five years' experience in a similar pre-press or related role Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Enfocus Pitstop Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite a must. Experience with Quite Imposing and Fiery Job Flow a plus. Thorough understanding of printing industry file standards. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer-service, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; maintain careful attention to detail; and be a trusted, reliable member of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
