- 17/hourOverviewWe are hiring reliable General Laborers to join a busy metal recycling yard.
This is a hands-on role working as a torcher and/or sorter, helping process scrap metal safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate torch equipment to cut and break down scrap metal (torchers
- Sort and separate metals by type and grade (sorters
- Load and move materials throughout the yard
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPERequirements
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet all day
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Previous labor, construction, warehouse, or scrap yard experience preferred
- Torch cutting experience is a plus, but not requiredWork EnvironmentOutdoor scrap yard setting with exposure to weather, dust, noise, and heavy equipment.
This is physical, hands-on work in an active industrial environment w safety is a priority.
