Production Worker - Day

Job Title:

Production Worker Job Description As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities on the production line, ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and throughput. You will complete quality and production reports accurately and perform physical and visual inspections to prevent non-conforming goods. Responsibilities Complete applicable quality and production reports hourly. Conduct physical and visual inspection of products to prevent non-conforming goods. Report all quality defects to appropriate team members and shift leadership. Adhere to company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times. Maintain general housekeeping in production areas and additional areas as assigned. Ensure appropriate level of raw materials to minimize production line downtime. Demonstrate aptitude and skill to work in all assigned production areas. Troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as dictated by production demand. Essential Skills Experience with production and machine operation. Knowledge of GMP standards. Ability to operate bottling lines and packaging machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in production line roles. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a GMP environment that is clean and well-ventilated, with good temperature control. The plant consists of around 90 people, including a maintenance team of 22 members. The facility uses advanced Krones machinery and Siemens PLCs. Enjoy a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with 12-hour day or night shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparrows Point, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.91 - $21.91/hr.
