Job Responsibilities:

Assist the driver by helping to safely load, unload, and deliver bags of ice to stores across the city, with delivery routes extending up to 100 miles. Operate and monitor ice machines to ensure proper functioning and consistent production of bagged ice. Set up and adjust ice bagging equipment to ensure proper sealing and packaging of ice bags. Regularly inspect ice machines for cleanliness, performance, and to prevent malfunctions. Ensure proper storage of bagged ice and manage inventory levels to meet delivery schedules. Inspect and examine bags of ice for quality, ensuring compliance with all safety, hygiene, and handling standards. Help unload and organize ice bags at delivery locations, ensuring they are placed in designated areas. Verify date codes on ice bags for accuracy and legibility before packaging and delivery.

Requirements:

Experience working in a production environment is a plus! Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required How to
