  • 2nd and 3rd Shift
  • Lawrence Plastics, a plastics injection molding supplier for the automotive industry is looking for talented production associates/machine operators to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to read and comprehend production instructions and be detail oriented with a result driven approach. If you are looking for a company to learn and grow, this is the position for you! Responsibilities Â
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Â
  • Follow operator and packaging instructions for each process. Â
  • Properly disposition non-conforming parts. (Grind or place in designated container.) Â
  • Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards, to maximize quality and minimize cost. Â
  • Label each box or returnable container, as instructed. Â
  • Verify label on each box or returnable container. Â
  • Maintain company issued tools and equipment. Â
  • Participate in and contribute to, problem-solving teams, as requested. Â
  • Provide input on how to continuously improve our safety, quality, and cost performance. Â
  • Contribute to good housekeeping practices, e.g. clean, orderly, and safe work area, sweeping floors, etc. Â
  • All other special projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
Â
  • Standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Â
  • Walking short distances occasionally. Â
  • Working in a space that lacks climate control. Â
  • Lifting and carrying objects with an estimate maximum weight of 40 lbs. Â
  • Pushing or Pulling of objects up to 15 lbs. in weight. Â
  • Gross manipulation skills for picking up, holding, and turning objects. Â
  • Fine manipulation skills such as touching, picking, and moving, primarily with fingers. Â
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
