Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee and direct a production crew in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Flint, MI. This role is responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring productivity goals are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate a team while actively participating in production tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, direct, and support a team of production employees to fulfill customer orders efficiently Work side by side with team members to complete tasks, including: Packing and unpacking products Repackaging materials as needed Building product bundles and supply kits Performing box printing and labeling Receive and process incoming and returned products Accurately log, track, and maintain production and inventory documentation Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and quality standards Monitor team performance and provide guidance, training, and support as needed Assist with workflow coordination and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience leading a team in a production or warehouse environment Experience in corrugated or manufacturing environments preferred Basic computer skills and familiarity with production tracking systems Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal) Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and outdoor elements Walk long distances (100+ yards) repeatedly throughout the shift Lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly without assistance Safely operate material handling equipment Visual ability to perform tasks requiring close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as focus adjustment IND2
