Job Description

Production Operator Location:
Fraser, MI Shifts:
1st (6am-2:30pm) 2nd (2pm-10:30pm) and 3rd (10pm-6:30am) available
Pay:
$17/hr plus $0.40 shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shift Position Summary We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts that meet customer specifications and Forvia standards, while supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
STRICT ATTENDANCE POLICY
This site uses a strict attendance policy. Associates that reach 3 points before they are converted will be terminated.
Point system is:
1 point for an absence 1 point for a tardy or early exit more than one hour .5 pt for a tard or early exit less than one hour Key Responsibilities Attend daily shift meetings and actively participate in team communication Ensure 100% on-time delivery to customers Follow standardized work instructions to maintain product consistency Meet quality and production standards within designated cycle times Perform tasks using Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement Support and maintain 5S workplace organization standards Escalate production or quality issues to Team Leader or Supervisor as needed Maintain equipment in excellent working condition Ensure full compliance with product traceability requirements Work flexible shifts and overtime to meet production demands Contribute to a safe work environment for all employees and visitors Assist with additional duties as assigned Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Follow ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001
standards and procedures Adhere to all site-specific health, safety, and environmental policies Actively support a zero-incident safety culture Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand production environment Effective communication skills across all levels Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs Good decision-making skills under pressure
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for 10-12 hours per shift Manual dexterity (handling materials, peeling labels, taping, inspecting surfaces, etc.)
Language:
Proficient in English Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing or automotive production experience is a plus (not required) Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is preferred
