The employee is responsible for operating high speed networked printers with front and back-end processing units, manage print jobs and queues from the print room, as well as any authorized operator tasks, paper stack handling and perform light printer maintenance (PM). This position will also assist with operating the section's printing and mailing equipment within the shop as assigned by crew leader. Work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday / 5AM to 2PM. Position Description Education Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school. Experience Reproduction Machines Operator 5 No specific type or amount is required. Reproduction Machines Operator E6 One year of experience operating printing presses, reproduction machines, including high-speed, high-volume, networked, digital, publishing printers, and related equipment equivalent to a Reproduction Machines Operator 5. Salary for this position is entirely federally funded. Under federal law an employee whose salary is entirely federally funded may not be a candidate for public office in a partisan election.
