Starting pay $18.50/hour plus $1.00 shift differential for 3rd shift and $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift. Overtime is paid at time and a half and double time starts after 48 hours. 401k retirement plan with company match. Responsibilities The primary role for the position is to package/band, weigh, and load/unload material from machines and stage material in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, this role will move material around the plant with a forklift and/or crane as well as performing multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. This position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to perform the duties to the highest standard. Follows Customer Supplied Manual to match product with proper packaging and skidding. Moves material around plant using a forklift and/or crane for producing, finishing, packaging, or shipping the customer product. Ensures areas are supplied with parts and removes finished skids to warehouse. Requires effective organizational skills and forward-thinking for daily tasks Desired Experience Must follow all safety policies and procedures Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hrs a day Must be available for work on any shift or shift rotation as needed by company Mechanical aptitude a plus, but not required Competent in basic math and computer skills Able to read a tape measure Forklift training is provided Education High School Diploma or equivalent
