Press Operator (Day shift) Intex - 3.6 Livonia, MI Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing facility Hand tools Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Extrusion Press Operator Day Shift (7am-3pm) Mon-Sat 8-10 hour shifts, 6 days a week Must be able to commute to both locations (Garden City & Livonia) if needed. Revise schedule and print work orders. Verify that dies and temperature(s) used in the die oven are correct. Operates press and log furnace. Check the dimensions of extrusions with measuring tools and document findings. Stretches extrusions, as needed. Enters production data in Epics.

This position requires:

punctuality and excellent attendance, with physical ability to perform duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing/walking, extensive bending/kneeling/squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures. Requirements Working experience in a manufacturing facility. Must have reliable transportation. Must be 18 years or older. Must have excellent attendance and work ethic. Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed. Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed. Training Use of proper PPE (i.
