Job Description
to apply for this job, you should have some press experience. The ability to run a stamping press on 1st shift. Pay will depend on experience. We work 4 - 10-hour days.
Job Purpose Summary:
To produce quality parts in an efficient and safe manner.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Operate the press and perform other duties according to specific job instructions provided (ex: coil changes, in-process inspection sheet, SPC, etc)
- To demonstrate the company's values set out in VICTR in all aspects of work
- Report all equipment and production related issues to supervisors for resolution
- Ensure that only quality parts are passed on to the next operation/packaged for customer
- Comply with the Company's 5S procedures by contributing to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, cost reduction, safety and housekeeping
- Record all production activities and complete quality documentation in an accurate and timely manner in
PLEX ERP
system- Responsibilities as outlined in Accurate's Quality Management System per SOP-400-03, Core Training Matrix (roles and responsibilities to satisfy
IATF 16949
)- Maintain a clean production work-area
- Assume other responsibilities and tasks assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the
Company Expectations:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of two years of manufacturing experience (Recommended)
- Direct press operating experience and press safety training is required (on the job training available)
- Experience with measuring equipment (ex: Vernier, micrometer, etc.)
- Level of Math understanding as demanded by job requirements
- Basic understanding of English language (oral and written)
- Basic Computer skills
- Must be physically capable of performing work required
- Willingness to learn on the job, flexible with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment both within a team or independently.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
