Job Description

Wynalda Packaging is an industry-leading folding carton manufacturer serving global leaders across a wide range of industries. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Working Supervisor for 2nd shift. 2nd shift
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 3pm-11:30pm with overtime as needed. This role will be required to come in prior to shift start to setup and get ready for the night and ensure a good hand off from 1st shift.
Summary:
The 2nd shift Working Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of its employees. In addition to leading the team and handling personnel-related activities, this person will also be hands-on, assisting in the day-to-day production output of the team.
Job Duties:
Help organize workflow by reviewing schedules and assigning responsibilities. Keep production lines & machines running at desired speeds, working quickly to resolve any issues. Oversee and coach production employees while working on tasks. Understand and communicate with employees regarding daily/weekly/monthly production objectives and goals. Fill-in on production lines when necessary to cover for absences or due to a critical production need. Ensure the safe use of equipment and conduct regular maintenance. Monitor production output according to quality specifications. Submit reports on performance and progress. Communicate and work closely with management on 1st and 3rd shift. Identify issues with efficiency and make suggestions for improvement. Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow company procedures. Enforce strict safety guidelines and uphold company standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a team lead or similar role. Experience in a folding-carton or packaging industry is strongly desired. Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive Can-Do attitude. High school diploma or equivalent. Compensation for this role will be based on experience.
