Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Operations Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of our expos and events. This role serves as a key liaison between venues, exhibitors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position requires occasional travel to local and out-of-state events to support onsite event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate venue relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for event-related logistics and operational needs. Support the planning and execution of expos by managing venue requirements, event resources, and logistical details. Coordinate vendor services and event equipment to ensure successful event setup and execution. Manage event documentation, compliance requirements, and operational records. Assist with floor plan management and event layout coordination. Prepare and distribute event communications, instructions, and logistical information to exhibitors and stakeholders. Maintain accurate event information and operational data within company systems and databases. Collaborate with sales, operations, and event teams to address exhibitor requests and support event objectives. Monitor event timelines and assist with project management activities to ensure deadlines are met. Identify opportunities to improve event processes, efficiency, and overall attendee and exhibitor experiences. Provide general administrative and operational support for special projects and company initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Previous experience in event coordination, operations, hospitality, logistics, or administrative support is preferred. Customer service experience and the ability to build professional relationships with venues, vendors, exhibitors, and team members is preferred.
Weekly Schedule/Compensation:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Full time position in our Troy, MI office. Hours are subject to change and may increase or decrease based on workload.

From $45,000.00 per year
