Warren, MI 48091 Overview We are seeking a reliable Production Operator to support packaging, labeling, and material handling operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing empty containers, operating labeling equipment, maintaining accurate product identification, and supporting production activities while following safety and 5S standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Manufacturing experience preferred. Mixer/Blender experience preferred. Forklift certification required. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Container Handling Move and organize empty 55-gallon drums and other packaging containers. Stack and store containers safely to maximize workspace and maintain clear aisles. Monitor container inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment. Labeling & Printing Operate label printers to produce labels, barcodes, and product identification materials. Verify print quality and accuracy. Load printer supplies such as paper, ink, and ribbons. Perform basic printer troubleshooting and report equipment issues. Marking & Identification Label, mark, and stencil containers according to production and shipping requirements. Ensure all markings are accurate, legible, and applied correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work area with readily available supplies and tools. General Production Support Assist with warehouse and production tasks as needed. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities. Support 5S initiatives: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
