This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping the sequencing process running smoothly, meeting quality standards, and supporting team performance on the floor. What Success Looks Like Production runs smoothly with minimal disruptions, delays, or missed sequences Sequenced material is accurate, complete, and delivered on time Issues are identified early and resolved quickly before impacting production Rework, errors, and replacement activity are reduced over time Team members understand their tasks and perform them correctly and consistently New and cross-trained employees are confident and productive in their roles Work areas are clean, organized, and consistently follow 5S standards Safety rules are followed at all times, and risks are addressed immediately Communication between shifts and departments is timely, clear, and solution-focused The team works together effectively and maintains a positive, respectful environment Core Skills & Competencies Production Flow & Sequencing Knowledge Understands sequencing process (JIT) and production workflow Monitors WIP, queues, and inventory to keep production moving Recognizes bottlenecks and adjusts priorities in real time Problem Solving & Execution Identifies issues quickly and takes action to resolve them Supports root cause problem-solving to prevent repeat issues Follows through to ensure problems are fully resolved Team Support & Coaching Provides clear, simple instructions and guidance on the floor Helps train new employees and supports skill development Reinforces expectations for quality, safety, and performance Quality & Accuracy Focus Ensures sequencing accuracy and adherence to customer requirements Monitors rework, replacements, and errors and takes corrective action Maintains attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Communication & Coordination Shares updates, priorities, and issues clearly with the team Works closely with supervisors and other departments Escalates issues appropriately and provides clear status updates Safety & Organization Models safe work behaviors and reinforces accountability Maintains clean, organized work areas using 5S/6S principles Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in warehouse, production, or sequencing environment preferred Basic computer and system navigation skills #
