Job Description

We are growing! Thoroughbred Fulfillment has an immediate need for a Production Associate to work in our Tagging department to accommodate our growing business. Production Associate Summary/Objective The Production Associate role offers the opportunity to rotate through our Sampling, Projects, and Returns departments. At this time, we are specifically seeking employees to join our Tagging team , which is primarily a seated position. Hours are Monday -Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, plus $1.00 shift premium. Production Associate Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Sampling:
  • Must be able to tag any and all material requested.
  • Will be required to use a manual special adhesive or operate a hot glue machine.
  • Accurately fill out all required documentation for each specific job.
Projects:
  • Complete all tasks that may be part of the Projects Department - Labeling, Binders, Assembling, Audits, Recycling
  • Operate the shrink wrapper and drill press
  • Accurately fill out all required documentation for each specific job.
  • Perform first piece inspection as well as in process quality checks accompanied by the required paperwork.
Returns:
  • Accurately and efficiently identify and sort client's product.
  • Become familiar with the client standards.
  • Must be able to move though out the warehouse and return material to inventory.
General:
  • Properly identify parts and operate all equipment used in the assembly process and be able to identify and properly tag rejected parts
  • Assist with the training of new employees, and follow all company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability
  • Consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment Production Associate Preferred Experience + Qualifications
  • Read, learn and follow training, adhere precisely to written procedures
  • Problem solving skills
  • Must be able to follow detailed instruction, inspection procedures and product appearance
  • Will work from engineering drawings and/or specifications
  • Perform addition/subtraction and Count items
  • Work quickly on your own or in a team
  • Must also be able to enter data into a computer screen
