General Production Worker

Job Title:

General Production Worker (2nd & 3rd Shift - Immediate Start) Job Overview We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Production Workers for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. In this role, you will support the manufacturing and assembly of window components within our production line. This position involves hands-on mechanical assembly, material handling, and the use of basic tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the mechanical assembly of window products on designated production lines Fabricate and assemble window components according to specifications Safely operate basic hand and power tools for woodworking and assembly tasks Measure, cut, and handle materials, including lumber and window parts Load materials and assist with machine operations as needed Follow all safety guidelines and ensure compliance among team members Adhere to standardized work processes, control plans, and quality requirements Identify and communicate production issues to supervisors or team leads Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts (SQDC) Support cross-training efforts to maintain production flexibility Assist in training new or less experienced team members Maintain a respectful and collaborative work environment Perform additional duties as assigned, including possible operation of powered industrial equipment Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in production, general labor, or assembly preferred Familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately Basic mechanical and woodworking skills Ability to read and interpret basic reports Basic computer proficiency Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts Shift Information 2nd

10:20 PM - 6:20 AM $24.70 Might be asked to train 1 day on 1st shift for orientation. This is is a problem, they are flexible. While some production areas are not fully climate-controlled and may become warm during summer months, we provide HVAC systems, fans, and hydration stations to maintain employee comfort. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayport, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.81 - $24.70/hr.
