Job Title:
Line Leader - Kitting Department Job Description This role is pivotal in performing line lead duties for the kitting department. You will work on a packaging line with a team of 6-10 people, ensuring that each team member is positioned correctly to optimize workflow. Your responsibilities include setting up the workflow, documenting output both in writing and digitally, and assisting with the line work. You will also operate a pallet jack throughout the day to ensure completed pallets of products are properly moved, labeled, and distributed throughout the warehouse to meet shipping schedules. Additionally, you will engage in conflict resolution and manage communication and prioritization skills to ensure timely product dispatch. Leadership training will be provided. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 6-10 in the kitting department on a packaging line. Set up and optimize workflow for the team. Document output both in writing and digitally. Assist with line work and operate a pallet jack. Ensure completed pallets are moved, labeled, and distributed correctly. Resolve conflicts and manage communication to ensure timely product dispatch. Enter re-works and due dates into systems. Essential Skills 2+ years in a leadership role. Experience with assembly and production lines. Proficiency in pallet jack operation. Strong communication and prioritization skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Leadership development experience. You will work in both areas, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
