Director of Production — Custom Manufacturing / Fabrication Build Something Exceptional. Outshaped is a fast-growing custom fabrication company specializing in large-scale architectural displays, sculptural fabrication, molds, themed environments, and complex one-off production work. We are not a repetitive manufacturing plant. We build ambitious projects that require problem solving, coordination, craftsmanship, urgency, and strong leadership. We are looking for a high-level production leader who wants to take ownership of a growing operation and help build one of the best custom fabrication shops in the industry. This is not a maintenance role. This is not a "keep things moving" role. This is a build-and-lead role. What You'll Own You will own production performance across: Machining / Programming Assembly Finishing Shipping / Crating You will lead department leads directly and be responsible for: throughput accountability production flow schedule execution operational improvement leadership development You will work closely with Project Management daily to align manpower, priorities, sequencing, and delivery expectations. You are the accountable owner of production execution. What Success Looks Like Production runs without constant executive involvement Department leads become strong leaders, not just strong technicians Bottlenecks are identified early and solved aggressively Throughput increases through better systems and leadership The operation becomes cleaner, more organized, more predictable, and more accountable Decisions are backed by measurable data—not opinions Who We're Looking For You are likely: highly organized mentally calm under pressure direct and accountable respected by both leadership and production teams capable of building systems without creating bureaucracy You have experience: leading multiple departments in manufacturing or fabrication managing supervisors/leads directly driving accountability and operational performance improving throughput, flow, and production efficiency balancing quality, urgency, labor, and schedule simultaneously You probably thrive in: fast-moving environments custom manufacturing high-mix / low-volume production operations where every project is different You care deeply about: output standards efficiency team culture operational excellence This Role Is NOT a
