Production Associate Job Description Join our team as a Production Associate, where you will work in the Trimming, Molding, or Mill/Mix Departments. This role involves operating specialized equipment to produce high-quality silicone and plastic components used in medical devices. Responsibilities Operate molding equipment to produce silicone and plastic components, ensuring parts meet process and quality standards. Monitor molding presses or injection molding machines, load material, remove molded parts, and perform basic inspections. Document production data and report process issues. Trim flash and excess material from molded parts using hand tools and perform visual inspections with a microscope for defects such as tears, bubbles, or incomplete fills. Prepare and process raw silicone and plastic materials by mixing and milling to create compounds for medical device manufacturing. Weigh and mix materials according to batch records and formulas, and operate mixing and milling equipment. Essential Skills Proficiency in using a microscope for detailed inspections. Experience in medical assembly and working in a cleanroom environment. Strong hand dexterity and attention to detail. Knowledge of production processes in a medical device setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a cleanroom environment is highly valued. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
