General Production Worker

General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker to manage the opening of 20-pound boxes. This role involves using a razor blade to open 20-pound bags of cheese and subsequently emptying them into barrels for further production. Responsibilities Open 20-pound boxes and bags of cheese using a razor blade. Transfer contents into barrels for production. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety and FDA regulations during food preparation. Essential Skills 6+ months of manufacturing experience within the last year. Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds. Familiarity with production, lifting, packaging, and hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with forklift operation and boiler machinery. Knowledge of food preparation and FDA regulations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
