Metal Shop Helper

Metal Shop Helper - 1st Shift You will operate spot welding equipment and assist with metal fabrication tasks like cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembling parts using blueprints. In addition to welding, you'll work as a metal shop helper , supporting daily shop operations and helping in various miscellaneous areas as needed - such as material handling, machine setup, cleanup, and general assistance across different projects. Duties Spot weld custom products, reading and following blueprints, using hand and power tools, assisting with fabrication processes, handling materials and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Skills Include basic experience in welding or metal fabrication, mechanical aptitude, familiarity with shop tools and equipment, basic math skills, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. It's a hands-on role that combines welding, metal shop support, and general shop help, ideal for someone looking to build skills in metal fabrication and manufacturing. Willing to train the right person!
