Job Description

Finisher - 2nd Shift About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented f inisher to join our 2nd shift production team. In this role, you will prepare products to meet customer specifications by grinding, sanding, assembling, and supporting machine operations. Your work directly impacts product quality, and you will play a key role in inspection and quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare products to customer standards using hand grinders Grind, sand, and remove excess metal from finished parts Assemble products as required Assist machine operators during downtime and operate machines as needed Use various hand and power tools safely and effectively Inspect products and perform quality assurance checks Maintain a clean, organized work area Lift up to 55 lbs as part of daily tasks Required Skills & Qualifications General production or manufacturing experience Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Ability to perform metal finishing tasks including sanding and grinding Comfortable using grinders and swinging a hammer Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail Preferred Qualifications At least 3 months of prior production or manufacturing experience Familiarity with mechanical assembly and inspection processes Basic understanding of blueprint reading and kitting Why Work Here Join a company with a proven track record of employee satisfaction and long‑term career growth: 40% of employees have been with the company for 25+ years Safety rating is 31% better than the Minnesota standard 10 paid holidays 100% tuition reimbursement after one year of employment Numerous opportunities for advancement across 15+ departments Overtime opportunities available Supportive, low‑turnover work environment Work Environment The production environment may be warm during summer months.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
