Job Description

Are you ready to be the heart of the bakery? 85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking detail-oriented, dedicated talents for our Back of House team, and we are looking for high-energy individuals to launch our brand-new Blaine, MN location. As a global leader in the bakery-cafe industry, we pride ourselves on precision, quality, and the "five-star" craft of our products. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, from the perfect rise of a brioche to the intricate decoration of a cake. Shifts:
Early morning and daytime shifts available.
Guaranteed Base Pay:
Starting at $19.00/hr At 85°C Blaine, we offer a high, guaranteed starting rate with no reliance on tips, providing you with financial stability and a predictable paycheck.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Artisanal Production:
Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads and pastries according to precise global quality standards.
Cake Artistry:
Assist in decorating and finishing cakes that meet our signature aesthetic.
Efficiency & Flow:
Work together with the production team to ensure the front cases are always stocked with fresh, high-quality products.
Departmental Mastery:
Cross-train across all Back Of House departments, including Separation, Ovens, and Cake Decoration along with certain Front Of House departments.
Safety & Standards:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all health department regulations and company guidelines. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous baking, kitchen, or food prep experience is preferred, but we will train the right personality! Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow technical recipes and timing charts. Ability to work early morning hours (the most critical part of our day!).
Availability:
Minimum of 15 hours per week; candidates with weekend, weekday, and holiday availability will be prioritized.
Physical Requirements:
Sufficient strength for moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and nearly continuous standing in a high-temperature kitchen environment. Why Join Us?
